BRIEF/Objective:
 

VMware had just gone through a rebrand and they were looking to translate their new corporate brand guidelines into an event brand guideline and a fresh concept/theme for VMworld.


Approach/Outcome:

Branding systems are no different when it come to an event. In fact, they can be more extensive. Also, with event branding, it is my role to push corporate guidelines to new limits.

We worked tirelessly to create a theme that would encompass the many aspects that not only the VMware customer embodies but also what the VMware product empowers.

I worked on and wrote every aspect of the event brand guideline from colors, messaging, and theme to typography, treatments, and shapes, Once finished, this brand book was then handed off to the design team and was used to base all event design decisions on.
